After his time in the service, Tony worked 12 years in the Postal Service as a letter carrier but eventually ended up in what he considered a dream job (not for the money) but for the love of all sports. One thing that is a must in all of his show programs is the positive side of the student-athletes, coaches and fans, on or off the field of play. Tony has always considered himself a fan with a headset, being able to talk about the Iowa high school and college athletics programs and athletes and being able to attend many of the state championship events.
Tony has a daughter (Deana) and son (Michael) and proud to be the grandfather of four girls and two boys.
Catch Tony on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5-7 on the Sports Spotlight Show from 5-7 on AM 1350 KRNT.
