For Aaron Chalstrom of St. Edmond (Fort Dodge), the word just missed is no longer used as after two runner-up finishes in Class 1A boys state singles he can say he is a champion. It was not easy for Aaron as he had to overcome a 4-6 loss in the first set but battled back with a 7-5 win in the second set before taking the final set, 6-1. Read more »

The 2013 Iowa high school boys state team tennis championship will be contested on Tuesday, May 28th. The Class 2A team pairing have been posted and will be held at the Ankeny Tennis Courts at Prairie Ridge Sports Complex in Ankeny. Read more »
