Listed below are the 2013 State Golf Tournament Qualifiers in all three spring classes and posted by the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA). The State Championship will be contested on Friday, May 24th and Saturday, May 25th with the Class 3A site at Ames Golf and Country Club in Ames; the Class 2A site at Spring Valley Golf Course in Livermore and the Class 1A site at Lake Panorama National Resort in Panora. Chris Allen, this week's Banker's Trust Coach of Character, coaches the #1 ranked class 3A Ankeny girls soccer team who hasn't been scored on yet. The team had to play 3 games in 2 days last weekend, but Allen said it was good preparation for the State Tournament. Read more »
